7/10 - Unique, strange, unorthodox Art, (2-6 mins), The game has such a unique style to it in terms of how it's located on your computer screen and how it opens up as you look at each persons story. The visuals are strong and the audio is dark and unnerving. The story was interesting but I came out of it not knowing if I fully understood it. The game feels like an art exhibition and less than a game, an experience which you might or might not like coming out of it. I personally enjoyed it but I wish the story was expanded on and the game is buggy with how the interact system works. However it's not a game that you usually come across and for that reason it's worth experiencing!
This was very different from what I am usually playing, but I did find it interesting, I do not know if it has an ending or not but the story is interesting about the “treasure” and the bandit.
5/5
i love the concept
Doesn’t work with 2580x1440 resolution (24 inch (2K) monitor)
Hello. This game is buggier than the wet soil under a rock but I love, love, love it!! I think I have an idea of what the story is, kind of, but you clearly want people to inerpret the meaning on their own so I'll keep my mouth shut.
Also, HOW did you get Unity to do weird, sort of frame thingies like that ?!
I love the way everything is presented, the MOOD is awfully great and the story is as cryptic as it is interesting. But ive had some serious issues with control... The character constantly wants to go front-left, only countersteered by going back-right but that then moves you very slowly. Aswell as pressing space being incredibly unreliable, mashing it to get any progress.
Overall, amazing entry! Despite the control problems that plagued me.
cool style.
how do i turn/look around?? also very pretty game!!
mouse movements to look, wasd to move, space to interact! thanks and enjoy!
oh okay!! thank you!!!
A very novel way to present stories in a videogame.
much appreciated! enjoy the rest of your journey playing the jam games!
This was a really cool set of vignettes. I had no idea Unity could do rendering like that. This has to be one of the most visually creative games I've played.
thanks! i didnt know it could do it either, its still super janky but im looking into how to fix it
When I run the executable, the game appears on a corner of my screen and I can't move the window.
as it should, carry on!
Ah I get it now. Great aesthetic choice!
thank you! glad you enjoyed it!
This game is pretty interesting, i suppose the bandit claimed he burned the samurai in his home and then murdered the lady, the shogun claimed the bandit robbed the lady, he shot the bandit and burned down his house, and the lady i just didnt understand at all
Is the game finished and needs no more updates?
There need to be a lot of fixes, and some clearing up of the story, i just couldnt assemble it quick enough during the jam
Good, I will wait for the next update then.
Impressive tech, puzzling plot. 1st game in the video
Holy Moly! This is awesome!!!
Thank you!
Jesus, this is amazing!!
^_^
